When drivers in the Concord, NC area visit Hendrick BMW in search of a dynamic vehicle that is sporty yet also boasts the capability of an SAV, we immediately point them in the direction of the unique BMW X6. This vehicle is a recent newcomer to the new BMW lineup and has made quite an impression during the past six years as it was the first Sports Activity Coupe in the world.
Now, the Bavarian automaker has been hard at work developing the second-generation of the X6 and finally was able to show off the fruits of their labors in the brand's official launch film, found below.
A new option for the 2015 X6 lineup is the X6 sDrive35i, which is equipped with a TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine which is paired with a 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission and generates 300 horsepower.
We expect the 2015 X6 to arrive in our Charlotte, NC showroom towards the end of the year, after it has been produced at the automaker's Spartanburg, South Carolina facility. More details such as pricing will be released in the near future, so stay tuned to our blog for updates.
