In the United States, transportation is responsible for 27% of all greenhouse gas emissions, and although the introduction of various EVs promise to alter this devastating statistic, the lack of charging stations make EVs unrealistic. Only BMW has been hard at work bettering our current charging infrastructure. With its ChargePoint initiative, BMW has helped to expand the EV charging network to more than 25,000 spots across the country. It has made charging faster, and invented an application that allows drivers to keep better track of approaching stations, charging status and history.

BMW's ChargePoint haven’t gone unnoticed either; instead, the United Nations recently gave BMW the "Momentum for Change" Award, recognizing inventive approach to bettering our planet for future generations.
