What do you know about the BMW 3 Series? For quite some time now, the offerings have been some of the most favored in the lineup of new BMW vehicles available here at Hendrick BMW. They were first introduced all the way back in 1977, and have racked up lots of awards over the years. In fact, it holds the record for being on Car and Driver's list of 10 Best Cars more times than any other auto: 22, to be exact.
And now, the 3 Series is being awarded again, this time by Automobile Magazine, which called BMW's flagship compact one of its All Stars of 2103. This is a prestigious honor, and a title that the 3 Series has now earned more than a dozen times.
Sometimes, says editor the publication's editor Joe Lorio, it's easy to forget about the auto. "The BMW 3 Series has become so ubiquitous that it's easy to forget how exceptional it really is," he says. "This BMW still can ignite an enthusiast's fire in a way that its competitors cannot."1
