The 2013 iteration of the BMW X5 was an incredibly popular model with customers here in our Charlotte, NC area, so we're very happy to announce today that the 2014 version will be an even more exciting model.
First introduced in 1999, BMW's Sport Activity Vehicle line redefined what an SUV could be. And now, two generations and over 1.3 million vehicles sold later, the BMW X5 is set for an all new version in 2014.
In terms of exterior design, BMW has implemented a number of alterations that increase the sporty yet elegant design the SAV line is renowned for. The vehicle's proportions are accented by a shortened front overhang, longer wheelbase, fully upright A-pillars, and a decidedly short distance between the front axles and doors. Chrome inserts and a new 3-dimensional design for the front headlights complete the gorgeous look.
On the inside, the new X5 loses none of its spaciousness or luxury. The materials selected are all of the highest qualities, from the Poplar Wood Trims, to the Pearl Glass Chrome. The standard-included BMW Navigation System features a 10.2 inch touchscreen Control Display Monitor. Customers will be able to choose from eight various upholstery options.
For pricing, base models are available from $53,725 and the X5 will be available in a number of trim levels, the most expensive of which will be the X5 xDrive50i model, coming in at $69,125.
