Here at Hendrick BMW, we are getting very excited about the imminent release of the anticipated BMW 4 Series, and we know many of our Charlotte, NC area customers are as well. With both a wider base and a lower profile than their 3 series brethren, these new models are generating quite a bit of buzz nationwide.
In recent press release and auto blogs, BMW has said that the new 4 Series coupe will boast the lowest center of gravity of any car in its already impressive 2013 BMW new model lineup. This means increased handling capabilities, as does the 60% increase in torsional stiffness when compared to older models of the 335i Coupe.
Aesthetically, these new 4 Series models have a few more departures from the rest of the BMW portfolio as well. A lowered profile and shortened overhangs are the first thing observers of the new model notice. We are big fans of the newly altered body line, starting immediately behind the forward wheel wells and extending through the model's tail. Newly sculpted tail lights help to accent the rear-wheel architecture of the model, and narrowed front Xenon LED headlamps add to an already aggressive but refined front fascia.
On the inside, the 4-Series cabin is very driver-focused, in all the best possible ways. A large infotainment screen sits perched above expertly designed control panels and consoles, all slightly angled towards the person in charge, a BMW specific touch.
While these 4-Series models are still a ways out from landing on dealer lots like our own Charlotte, NC showroom,we have so many wonderful and currently available BMW options on our lot, we know we can find one that perfectly fits your lifestyle.
