As many of you BMW fans in Charlotte, NC are well-aware, BMW has been setting the highest of standards in luxury and innovation in the automotive industry for many years. And with recent debuts from advanced, iconoclastic models like the BMW X6 SAV, this trend is certainly set to continue. "We want to give our sporting models a more individual look, further separating them visually from the more practical models in our line-up,"1 says a BMW insider to UK publication Autocar. The auto will share a platform with the BMW X5, and will feature newly expanded space for additional legroom and storage space. Looks wise, the model will maintain its sleek silhouette.
Though concrete details are sparse for the moment, we're thinking the auto will be backed by straight-six and turbocharged V8 engines, and a hybrid variant may be on tap as well after the expect 2015 sales launch. We believe the model will make an official global debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show.
