Some auto experts out there like to say the sports wagon is a dying breed. Here at Hendrick BMW, serving drivers in the greater Charlotte area, we don't think that's entirely true, as the sport wagon has its appeal to many drivers. While more consumers are turning to compact CUVs and SUVs, there's still plenty of room in the new BMW lineup for wagon, and BMW agrees, confirming that the BMW 3 Series will receive a sports wagon for the 2013 model year.

Appropriately named the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon, the vehicle will debut in Europe later this year, but will arrive at BMW dealerships like ours in the states in Spring 2013. The next-generation wagon features a wider track and length than its sedan counterparts like the BMW 328i while also being able to hold 10 percent more cargo volume. With a 40:20:40 split, you'll have no problem finding room in the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon, with many places to store just about anything.

Of course, we'll also see many other driving and technology features that are already found on BMW 3 Series vehicles, while the Sports Wagon also comes with three different trim lines; Sport, Luxury, and Modern.

To get some more details on the forthcoming BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon, stop in to Hendrick BMW, located at 6950 E Independence Blvd Charlotte, NC 28227, and we'd be more than happy to discuss the details of the new wagon in depth, while also answering any questions you might have on any new BMW vehicles you might have.
