The standard powerplant is a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, on the xDrive40i model, that pairs to an eight-speed automatic transmission and produces 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. A twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine is available on the highest xDrive50i trim level, making 456 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. For now, xDrive all-wheel drive comes standard.
Like most new BMW models, the 2019 BMW X7 is well-equipped and well-connected.
